- The entire distribution of Terra (LUNA) tokens might take anywhere from 24 to 48 months.
- Users may verify that they have received airdrop LUNC tokens.
As of Thursday, holders of Terra Classic (LUNC) and TerraClassicUSD (USTC) were distributed the second batch of Terra (LUNA) airdropped by the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, Binance. The initial airdrop, which took place in May, is associated with Do Kwon’s “Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan 2,” which involves the split of the Terra Classic network.
Binance announced on December 22 that the second phase of the Terra (LUNA) airdrop distribution to users who owned Terra Classic (LUNC) and TerraClassicUSD (USTC) as of the snapshot has been completed.
Remaining Distribution To Follow Soon
Following the schedule, Binance will release the remaining Terra (LUNA) airdrops in either December 2022 or June 2023. Depending on market conditions, the entire distribution of Terra (LUNA) tokens might take anywhere from 24 to 48 months.
On the Distribution tab of their spot wallets, users may verify that they have received airdrop LUNC tokens. The option to “Hide 0 balances” must be deselected before LUNA tokens may be shown in spot wallets.
Further, following this statement, Binance will not reveal the conclusion of future Terra (LUNA) airdrops. Additionally, U.S. citizens, companies, and nations under sanctions are not eligible to participate in the airdrop.
Moreover, the first airdrop, representing 30% of the total, was completed by the cryptocurrency exchange in May. In the next 24 months, the remaining 70% will be paid out. As a direct consequence of the airdrop, the price of Terra Classic has increased by over 5% during the last 24 hours. According to CMC, the Terra Classic price today is $0.000137 USD with a 24-hour trading volume of $98,139,251 USD.
