Bill Gates Supposes NFT as Greater Fool Theory

Bill Gates Supposes NFT as Greater Fool Theory Editors News
  • Gates identifies himself as neither a short nor a long-term trader.
  • Investment in NFT is not going to provide any solid returns.

Many tech celebrities are crazy and act as a mascot for modern digital assets like Bitcoin, memecoin, and NFT. But the pioneer in the field, Bill Gates says something else. The co-founder of Microsoft doesn’t seem to be a big fan of the crypto world.

At TechCrunch Sessions: Climate 2022, Mr. Gates expressed his views when the moderator raised a question about crypto and NFT. In a mockery tone, he conveyed that NFT(Bored Ape) is going to bring a greater impact. Also, he is not either a short or long-time trader.

Bill Gates stated:

“Expensive digital images of monkeys are going to improve the world immensely”

Bill Gates’s opinion is that investment in NFT is not going to bring out any solid output or profit. They are just based on a blind belief that the value may be increased more by someone else. Additionally, he suspects, these were just marketed to invest in things to avoid taxation and government regulations.
