Antarctic has announced that Season 1 of its points program will begin on June 8, 2026. The program will calculate each trader’s accumulated balance at the end of the season to determine a proportional share of the Season 1 reward pool.
Season 1 is designed to recognize activity across the Antarctic platform, with trading volume serving as the primary source of base points. The program also adds on broader participation signals, including staking activity, referrals, platform quests, social participation.
Under the Season 1 scoring model, final points are calculated through the following structure:
Base Points x Contribution Score = Points you earn
The Base points are generated through eligible trading volume. Every $1,000 in trading volume earns 1 AX Point.
The contribution score functions as a multiplier applied on top of base points. The full structure of the contribution score will not be publicly disclosed. It is tier-based and scales with each trader’s platform ranking. Consistent activity across the season is weighted differently from isolated volume spikes.
Eligible earning methods during Season 1 include trading activity across qualified positions such like:
– Trading activities
– Liquidity pool staking
– Lifetime referrals
– Platform quests, community participation
– Other activities that may be introduced during the season.
Antarctic also plans to introduce a novel “Revival Account” following its points program launch. While exact details are yet to be released, the account is designed to give a second chance to traders liquidated on Antarctic to recover realized losses. Activity generated through this revival account will be eligible for accumulating points in the same manner as standard trading positions.
