  • 21Shares launched physically backed ETPs for Zcash (ZEC) and ether.fi (ETHFI) on Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris.
  • Both products carry a 2.5% annual fee and give European investors access to ZEC and ETHFI through traditional brokerage accounts.

21Shares has launched two physically backed crypto exchange-traded products for Zcash and ether.fi, giving European investors access to the assets through traditional brokerage accounts.

The 21Shares Zcash ETP, trading under the ticker ZCASH, and the 21Shares ether.fi ETP, listed as ETHFI, began trading on Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris on September 22. Both products hold their respective underlying tokens and carry a 2.5% annual fee.

New ETPs Bring ZEC and ETHFI to Traditional Investment Channels

The Zcash product has the ISIN CH1608218801, while the ether.fi ETP has the ISIN CH1608218819. The products trade in euros on Euronext Paris and in U.S. dollars on Euronext Amsterdam. 21Shares said both are available through European brokerage platforms and financial institutions.

The products are designed to provide exposure without requiring investors to directly purchase the tokens, set up crypto exchange accounts or manage private keys. According to 21Shares, the underlying crypto assets are held with third-party custodians.

For ether.fi, the ETP tracks ETHFI, the protocol’s native governance and utility token. 21Shares described ether.fi as a platform that has expanded from liquid restaking into services covering earning, borrowing, payments and spending.

The Zcash ETP provides exposure to ZEC, the privacy-focused cryptocurrency with a maximum supply of 21 million coins. 21Shares highlighted Zcash’s optional shielded transactions and its focus on privacy and post-quantum security.

The launch adds two more crypto assets to Europe’s growing ETP market, allowing investors to access ZEC and ETHFI through established securities exchanges rather than holding the tokens directly.

At the latest available market reading on September 22, Zcash (ZEC) was trading around $1,530 while ether.fi (ETHFI) was around $0.70.
