The CEO of Twitter and Square Jack Dorsey has confirmed recently that one of his companies will integrate Lightning Network’s sidechain with one of his businesses. The confirmation was made as a reply to a request on Twitter. The user requested him to build the Lightning network into Twitter or Bluesky. To which he replied “Only a matter of time.”
Stream sats. Build LN into BlueSky or Twitter please and thank you.

The remark by Dorsey is not really clear. He didn’t mention which company he was planning to integrate the Lightning network with. He didn’t specify if he planned to integrate it with Twitter, Bluesky or even Square.
A lot of crypto enthusiasts have pointed out that the remark may be related to Square’s recent acquisition of Tidal, a music streaming platform. This integration may be the saving grace Tidal really needs.
Square’s Hardware Wallet:
Dorsey last month announced that Square intends to release a bitcoin hardware wallet. The wallet seems to be an extension of the partnership with Blockstream. Square intends to invest $5 million in building a mining facility as well within the partnership with Blockstream.
Square and Dorsey have been long-time backers of bitcoin. The company has also given $10 million for their clean bitcoin mining initiative for a clean energy solution for bitcoin mining. Dorsey’s Square was also one of the companies that recently put bitcoin on their balance sheets.
